Hello there!
I hope you all are doing well! This week has flown by with visits with with friends, Bible Studies, helping a friend reorganize her sewing area and even teaching a another friend to make green chile chicken enchiladas!
Next week will be much quieter as I prepare for surgery. My hubby and I are hoping for a day trip to the mountains to just breathe and enjoy nature.
Onto this week's post!
As my weekly posts are jampacked with lots of fun mini- articles, here's is an index should you have a special interest you ...

Hello there!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I appreciate the time you spend here and hope you are blessed in some way!
Every day this week I've spent at least five to six hours visiting with friends and grandchildren. We also experienced a major victory over cancer which I joyfully share in my Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer article.
Needless to say, reading and crafty goals have been pushed aside this week! Oh! It's been delightful to reconnect with friends after our busy summer schedules have kept us apart! As always, time with the grandchildren is ... read moreHello there!
Hello there!
Here in Las Cruces, out temps have been over 100 degrees! We now make sure our errands are completed by 11:00 am! I'm also adding an extra, 5 minute run of our sprinkler system at dusk. Whew!
I have to say I'm still enjoying having a retired husband at home! We're going on 8 weeks and still loving it! True story: when he would go to work after a week or so at home, I'd shed a few tears as he drove off. Yes, after 42 years, I'd still miss him.

Hello there!
Wow! Next week our forecast is for lows in the 70's and highs in the 100's! I guess it's time to go to my summer schedule: errands done before 10:00 am and home for the rest of the day! I've been adding mint leaves to my water for that extra bit of freshness.
Our grandchildren and my daughter taught us how to use the Alexa machine to call my parents. My husband and I had a wonderful visit with them this morning. It was good to see them.
I'm reading a book ...

Speaking of this week, let us pray for everyone affected by the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas. I have to move on from this topic. Emotions run deep.
My recently retired hubby and I are adjusting to our new non-schedules by enjoying slow mornings and relaxing evenings on the patio filled with good conversation, our favorite music and some slow stitching. Thus ...

I hope your week was a good one!
Hello there!
I know your time is precious, so I appreciate you taking time to pop in! How was your week? Are you enjoying some beautiful spring weather?
Last week I knew surgery would soon be approaching, so I scheduled play dates with days to rest afterwards. I visited my local library (support those local libraries!) and had a morning Bible study with a new friend. So, it was an active week! This week there was little time for hobbies or blogging! I even forgot to link up to some of my regular parties!

from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello There,
Thank you for stopping in for a visit! Pull up a chair and relax as you read! I hope you leave encouraged and smiling! This week was busy! I had one afternoon at home and the rest of this week was jam packed with doctor appointments in Las Cruces as well as in El Paso, playing with my grandchildren and one happy social event with a new friend. I met some goals, pushed some goals back and am learning to wait patiently on the Lord. It's a process, isn't it? Here's is an index should ...

Weekly Word: Two Are Better Than One, Plus My Reading, Stitching and Gratitude This Week!
from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer
I hope you all had a fabulous week! Mine started off rough with a few days of illness, hence this post will be abbreviated as I lost a few days to sleep and recovery. However, I am fine now, thank God! It's amazing how quickly we can recover if we listen to our bodies, give it the rest it needs and then take life slowly as we recover!
Today was a lovely day out with my hubby grocery shopping, a lovely lunch at a local restaurant, Tacos & Shell-ah’s, which I highly recommend if you're in ...

Weekly Word: He Lives! Plus My Reading, Stitching and Gratitude This Week!
from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer
Hello There, Happy New Year! I hope you all have had a safe, blessed holiday season! Can you believe that today we took down our inside decorations? Our holidays were nice, but very different without my parents. I thought it would be harder than it was. My family's support of as well as many prayers lifting our family up eased the pain. I'm looking forward with hope, but also a heaviness about the unknown future caused by life in general, the pandemic, the political and social situation in our nation as well as around the world are heavy ...
